This ranks as one of the most vacuous threads I've read (and trust me, I've read quite a few). If there is a point in here, I have yet to find it.

I agree, this wins a prize for "Can I have that 5 minutes of my life back, please?"

I want the five minutes back that it took to figure out what a "vacuous thread" was?

Here's a little something so that this post is not completely devoid of worth.

This review was written by a local; anyone remember writing this:
Um, ah, um....no words come to mind
The Playin' by itself makes this worth 5 stars. Holy crap. Maybe I toss out too many 5 star reviews, but giving this one a grade of B seems almost criminal. Sound is tremendous, everyone is clear. Donna for the most part hangs in the back, and her audible contributions are actually pretty good. The interplay during the Playin' just cements for me how huge this band was when they were firing on all cylinders. Individuals meshing into one formidable beast that laid waste to all before it. Any chair that might be in the vicinity of this one should just be destroyed in advance.

It's got beautiful sound if you like to hear all of Phil.

Thank goodness, a voice of sanity.

Plus, who is that amazing reviewer? Bit of a blowhard, but he makes some good points if you can look past the BS.

" a voice of sanity"

That's going on my resume. I hope they don't ask for the source.

Really ? I found some of Splue's with the enigmatic 'Subjects' deeply profound, liberating, and yes, moving in our postmodern milieu.

splue, you are worrying me. Responding to your own posts, albeit in a rational manner, is not a good sign.

Please don't incite trolls in this forum. These good people have had their share, and unfortunately probably will again. I bet half think you are a troll right now. Bring them over to the other place (kinda like the ol' KGB w/ Lubyanka or the woods) and whack away. Not so many sensibilities or eyeballs in that forum. So please no luring/taunting/ect. here.
Please. You are so kind. :-)

ah "splue" you have a style and attitude somewhat reminiscent of another "lady" who held Americans, in general, and LMA GD Forumites particularly in quite low regard. However, she did seem to have a soft spot in her heart for Wm. Tell.

"Willie" Tell may now be singing...
Splue skies smilin' at me
Nothing but splue skies do I see.

appréciez vos vacances. nous quitterons la lumière sur pour vous.
